HIYYYAA! 

 

I'm Holly. Nice to meet you. I'm from Deeside in North Wales, but I'm English, so Wenglish if you will. Music is ma thang. It's probably the only thing I've ever been good at, maybe apart from making teddies out of fudge. I'm 5ft 11 with purple hair, facial piercings, and arms full of tattoos. The half sleeves are coming along nicely. 

 

I have been in bands before now, too many to bloody well count, but I've always wanted to do something that I have complete control of and it's all my ideas. In this game, I've only got myself to argue with. I do write with the lovely Ed Davies and Ann Sianna Le Kingston, but they play or sing bits, I throw them into Logic Pro X, and sort the rest out. 

 

As well as being a huge metalhead, I'm also a disco and funk enthusiast. It's been the biggest obsession I've ever had, so much so that my 80's Groove compilation albums are taking over my CD rack. It's normally bass lines that grab me the most, but if I hear any Nile Rodgers style guitar riff and I'm hooked. I'm really into Slave and The Chic Organization at the moment, but I also love Daft Punk and Shalamar. I've found the best Spotify playlist full of 1980s roller-disco tracks which I'm currently hooked to.  

 

I'd love for this idea to take off, but I need a huge kick up the arse some days to get things done. I've finished my masters in songwriting and production and currently work for the NHS just to pay the bills. I know, it's a hard life.
